• About Us

Arthritis Health Associates has been providing outstanding rheumatological care to the greater Central New York area for over a decade. Formed in 1998, it was founded by Dr. Lorne Runge, who has since retired from practicing medicine, and Dr. Patrick Riccardi. AHA has grown considerably since that time and now has nine additional providers. AHA, a private practice, is located near the Syracuse University area. We specialize in providing health care for patients with arthritis and rheumatic disease; illnesses that can cause inflammation (redness, swelling and pain) and degeneration of joints and surrounding structure. In addition to providing services at our South Crouse location, our physicians provide in-patient hospital consultations when requested by other area physicians.

Our team of highly-qualified physicians is board certified in Rheumatology and is dedicated to helping relieve your joint pain. We were recently featured as the cover story in MD News as a result of the high level of care we provide each and every patient our providers see. Our outstanding provider team works with over 40 qualified professionals to facilitate over 40,000 patients visits every year. Schedule an appointment  with us today and let us formulate an effective treatment plan tailored to meet your individual health care needs.
